Let me tell you a little about me and my journey with online teaching.
I started my baking side hustle in 2012.
I started teaching online in 2018, my first online class was a cheesecake class. I sold it for $10. I thought I was going to get a lot of students and make lots of money! That didn't happen lol I had seen other people make great sales in classes and didn't understand why my class didn't go as I hoped for.
Didn’t understand but I still kept teaching and did another 10-12 different online classes that year! (I don't recommend that now lol!)
I was missing the strategy behind my launches.
That year I saw my classes grow, more students bought and I started to make more money.
I left my job at the end of 2018!! Best feeling ever!!!
In 2019 I invested in courses to help me level up my teaching, marketing, and mentality.
It was the first year where I charged $200+ for an online class.
One of the best years for me. Financially I was blown away by what I was able to make that year. (over 100,000!) took me a couple of months to believe it. Also, I started to believe in myself and in my potential!
2020 I went into teaching online full time, another scary moment. But teaching is my passion and what makes me happy! I was able to double my yearly income.
And it's not only about the money, don't get me wrong, money is great lol but the impact we have on other people is the best feeling. When you hear their testimonies, how taking your class has helped them make more money, how it has pushed them to do more in their business is just heartwarming!
Also, the freedom I have gained from becoming an online instructor is unbelievable. I truly want people to experience this.
I share all of this with you because I want you to know that you can do this too. It's possible!

When I would hear this or see other people living it, I said that can't be true! Or if it is, I'll never be one of those. It seemed impossible. I was so used to hustling. I was team no sleep! Although I use to work my butt off, it still wasn't enough to support my family comfortably, and had zero freedom.
Even after leaving my job and just focusing on my baking business. I was still working through the weekends. Spending holidays half asleep. It was leading to overwhelm and burnout.
Becoming a course creator changed my life. I found not only my passion but I found a way out of the hustle culture. I now only work 3-4 days out of the week. Have weekends off. I can support my family and offer them new opportunities.

Here's what the course will include:
The sessions will be LIVE. They will take place every Tuesday. From June 14 through August 9. Alternating times from 10am to 1pm pacific time.
The live sessions will take place inside Facebook. All replays will be available inside the Facebook group or inside your private members portal.
Live sessions will approx be 30-45 min long. Plus we will have some time for Q&A after each session.
All sessions will come with pdf guides/worksheets. They'll have a recap of what was said in each video plus some guides to help you gain clarity.

In this session, we will talk about getting clear on why we want to teach. Also, some mental barriers that can affect our vision and mission.
Session 2
Choosing Your Class Topic
In this session, we will decide if the class is a course? A workshop? Choosing your topic and getting clear about who you are talking to.
Session 3
Things You Need to be Doing Before you Launch or Sell a Class
In this session, I will share why my first class didn't go as I hoped. I've seen so many people launch classes but because they don't have a strategy behind their launch, it doesn't go as planned. I will share what helps prepare your audience to buy a class from you. Which will equate to more sales.
Session 4
Outlining Your Course
In this session, we will talk about breaking down your course. Outlining it, breaking it down into sessions. So your students are able to consume the information a little better. Which can lead to more success stories. These success stories will help you for your next launch. So it's important to make our class digestible. This lesson is all about that.
Session 5
Pricing Your Course
In this session, we will talk about the value of what you're teaching, to help you price it accordingly.
Session 6
Promoting Your Course
In this session, we will talk about different ways you can market, and promote your class. I will share what has worked for me. It's one thing to create the class, the other side is you going out there and getting some sales.
Session 7
How will students buy your course?
In this session, we will talk about the easiest way a customer can buy your class. Will it be through invoicing? A google form? A website? I will be sharing different alternatives to fit your level.
Session 8
Setting up Your Facebook Group
In this session, I will show you how to set up and back up your Facebook group into a class setting. Best way to manage it. The pros and cons of teaching on Facebook. This includes a step by step video on how to set it up.
Session 9
Everything You Need to Know on Delivering Your Course LIVE or Pre-recorded
In this session, I will share all my tips on delivering your course live! How to prepare yourself, your house, and your students! I will also be sharing tips if you choose to pre-record your videos vs live sessions.
